ok i'm new to this game and just got the core rule book. i have been reading through it and i am on like chapter 9 and yeah i already forget alot of what i have read lol anyways is there a online community that i can play with or that will teach me some of the rules and get into the game more cause i am gonna teach this game to my cousins to play with me and yeah i wanna know what im talking about and i would also like to play more then with just them or do you need a set group?

yeah im overwhelmed by this game. going from magic the gathering to this is just like ****. so much more to learn.

For the most part, a GM can wing it with bonuses, difficulties, and penalties. It's a lot like D&D in that aspect: You give them a difficulty, say, 180, and then some situational modifiers, and then they roll. If it's above, they win. If it's below, it's the other way around.

Other than that, there's the Combat Table, which is on the GM Screen for convenience. Naturally, you can scan it and have it as a quick reference.
