Halber & Spear again: Short Clarification

By Yepesnopes, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Sorry for bringing this subject back, but it is only a short clarification.

After the errata was released the Spear vs Halberd issue was fixed (at least for some people). But then I have three short clarifications about the current stats of these two weapons.

"Halberd: A heavy axe mounted at the end of the long haft, the
halberd is a versatile weapon often used by militias and the town
watch. Its default use is as a polearm, with the stats as shown.
The wielder can perform a manoeuvre to change his grip and use
the halberd as a spear, gaining the statistics for a standard spear,
although it cannot be thrown.
"

Does this mean that the Halberd wins the Fast and Unreliable 2 qualities too?

"Spear: A long wooden haft with a pointed metal head, the spear is
an ancient and versatile weapon. It can be wielded one-handed with
a shield. It may also be wielded two-handed, increasing its damage
rating by 1. It may also be effectively thrown up to close range."

Does this mean that the Spear gains the Two-handed quality and therefore you can use with it Action cards that require a two-handed weapon?

I forgot to ask

When the Spear is wielded two handed, does it still keep the Fast quality?

I think that the halberd gains only the fast quality. You can use its pointy end to attack quickly! If they wanted it to be an unreliable weapon, then it would always have this as a quality. I don't think that it can break any more just because you are trying to impale your opponents instead of slashing them.

The spear always has the fast quality because you always attack the same way with it, regardless of how you wield it. And I believe that you can use it with all of the two handed action cards if you wield it with two hands.

Hope this helps :)
