1)Any body knows what expansions are most compatible to play with the base game.
(eg king yellow with dunwich horror ect)
2) Do i have to buy all the expansion in order to need the Miskatonic horror

Compatible expansion
1 - The King in Yellow plays very tight with the base game. If you want to play a big box you should use Kingsport, as it's mythos cards all point towards the base board. Other than that the Dark Pharaoh gives a nice game with an Egyptian feel if you aren't using any other expansions.
2 -No, the base minimum is two large expansions and two small ones (in my opinion), but you get more out of the MH if you have everything and can mix and match the theme. In fact you don't need MH, but it makes the game more thematic if you use two or more expansions.
Tell us more about what you mean by "compatible to play with the base game." Technically, all non-MH expansions are designed with just the base game in mind.
Plays better .
You HAVE to suspect that that's not much of an answer. They all play better. The game is (almost) completely an improvement with any expansion than with none. I say "almost" because, as a loose example, if you think adding new mechanics hurts gameplay, every expansion is going to add something you don't like.

Just as a PS. If you do get The Dark Pharoh expansion, makes sure its the resvised edition. The original will still work with the base game, but most people say that the revised edition is far better.
