Is there a limit on the Revealed Cylon's hand size?

Clarification when a Cylon plays a cirsis card we ignore the cylon ad jump icons as per cylon sequence of play, is this correct.?

2nd Game and it was a close run game again. Galctica made it. The Cylon player fooled us by mainly playing the correc but low value skill cards. If he had waited a bit longer to reveal he may well have won. Also he didnt think to activate heavy raiders when centurions were on board but no heavy raiders left. Crisis cards followed that activated them (all four) .

As with all players, unless otherwise stated, it's 10.

That is correct.

I have a question too, and rather than start a new thread I thought I would just add to this question thread.

When you have 2 options, and one of those is to discard X Skill Cards, but you have none or not enough to meet the X value, can you still choose that option ?

On page 30 is says :-

Choice Crises: When a player makes a choice on a Crisis Card, he can always choose the top or bottom section of the card, regardless of whether he will be able to fulfill the game text listed (unless the card specifically restricts this).

Now the first part says you can pick the option even though you cannot fullfill the game text, however the part in brackets says unless it says it restricts this ... well I've read most of the cards and cannot see any that say "You MUST" .. or similar ... so I wounder if they mean "Curreny player discards X card" means you must have those cards to discard.

I'd say you can choose to discard even if you don't have any cards to discard. The extra clausul " unless the card specifically restricts this " is probobly just a saftey for possible future cards (or a remanant of cards that didn't make it til the final release).

Yes, quite so. We play it the way that you discard all remaining cards, if you can't discard enough. If you have no cards that you can discard - well, tough luck. For the crisis. :P

I think that the mechanic takes into account two things-- that a hidden cylon player might want to choose a crisis he/she doesn't believe the humans can overcome (because they don't have the cards), or that a human player chooses the lesser of two evils, in hopes that the other humans will have enough cards to make it work.

Does that make sense?

The Build Cylon Detector card has the option of discarding a nuke vs. I believe it is Morale loss. The card specifically states that you may not choose the Discard a Nuke option if you have no nukes left, so this is what the rules are referring to. It is always nice to learn that you will have to discard cards when your hand is currently empty, as it makes the choice a little easier.

Since this is a question post, I'll post two I have:

First, if I'm piloting a viper and want to return to the ship, do I have to move back to the launching bay sectors? Or can I just move back?

Second, when do the boarded centurions move? Every turn? Only when a heavy raider icon is on the crisis card, or just a raider icon?

Thanks

1. No, you don't have to move back to the spaces with the launch tubes. You can just move from any space area to whichever location you want to go to (you do have to discard a card though, just like if you want to move to Colonial One and also, your Viper goes back to the reserves).

2. The Centurions move when the 'Activate Heavy Raiders' icon comes up.

Thanks a lot. I appreciate the help.
