I bought th new Dust Tactics tile set and am very dissipointed in them as they warp while playing the game, has anyone else had this problem. I end up playing in a set of bowles instead of flat terrain tiles!
Dust Tactics Tile Set
All the others have done as well, don't worry about it, once the settle down and get used to the local humidity they will be ok.
My original core set had warped tiles. I resolved it by doing the following:
Stack up the tiles like they're bowls (i.e., the corners point upwards.)
Take a couple of the one square-sized obstacle tiles and put them underneath the stack in the middle.
Put heavy objects (like books or whatever) on the stack, so that the edges of the bottom tile are touching the table (i.e., you can't see the the one-square tiles you put underneath them.)
Let sit like this overnight.
Doing that, the problem was solved for me overnight, and the tiles never warped back to the way they were.
All of my tiles have done this, but after some time sitting around in the open they even out, I'm mostly sure it the humidity that causes the problem. Just stack them on a flat surface and put book on top it'll flatten them out again.
Video of my board Check this video out of my setup and you will see how I fix this problem with plexiglass

Oh, that would piss me off. I want the tiles though. Don't want the maps.
Anyone make a custom game board yet?
No but I was looking into the idea, you will want to look for chip board 12"x12", from their print out graphics, glue them on, and then cut them down to DT size about 11"x11" if i remember correctly.
Or 280mm for the metric types. If you happen to work in a place with a large format printer (
) 3 tiles fits exactly on an A0 roll of paper (841mm) or you can get 3x2 tiles on an A1 sheet of foamcore with a bit spare.
(No I'm not printing me out new tiles, the colour ink usage would get me sacked).
My tiles are fine at my house but on my friends glass table they warp in minutes infront of your eyes especially when they've got cold on the trip over.
Had the same problem with my tiles, regardless on how much pressure/etc I used I couldn't make them stay flat, even tried taking two pieces of plywood and putting them on each end of the tiles and put them in a vice for a day and they still bend.
However, came up with an extremely simple solution that will keep your tiles from warping and you've probably got access to the fix in your junk drawer or at work in your desk.
Sticky Tac, yep really simple, just make 5 balls about 1mm in diameter and place one in the center of the tile and the others about 1/2" from the corners of the tile; you don't need much to keep them down and at that size the thickness won't effect the playing surface grade. The reason you'll want to avoid putting the tac closer to the corners is because the actual printed part might start to peel away when you pull them off the table.
@OptimusPrime21 - Your setup is epic, have you done any further work painting the Cerberus walls, been tempted to paint/wash/drybrush mine.
