When reading through the hit and run rules, it seems to me that the hit and run action is done by a single character in a single attack craft. As I am rather particular about what sorts of crafts are available to my players (I use the vehicle rules from Into the storm) I wonder what kind of craft would be suitable for this operation (apart from the Shark assault boat). Is it assumed that all ships have dedicated attack crafts or should I force my players to buy a suitable craft if they want to try this maneuver? I am also a bit confused about how this is supposed to interact with the attack craft rules from BFK. There are some notes about hit and run actions under the assault boats operations rules, but this seems like a different action related to hit and run not a replacement for the hit and run rules. What are the difference between a regular hit and run attack and an assault boat operation?
Hit and run and attack crafts
Assault boat operation grants +10 to a Hit and Run action (which is resolved immediately after they breach the hull) for each assault boat that arrives intact and the player leading the attack doesn't have to make a Pilot (Small Craft) test.
As to making regular Hit and Runs, I assume the character would be using a regular Guncutter,
