Basic Questions and Summoners

By Corrupted Valor, in Anima: Beyond Fantasy RPG

Hello Everyone,

I just got my group started on Anima, and I was wondering a few things.

1. What is the Defense under the Weapon on the character sheet for? I can't seem to find anything that indicates what would go there.

2. What is the N-degree multiple under Life Points? Is it just the Life Point Multiple or did I miss something?

3. I have a summoner in the group who wishes to specialize in Earth Elementals, and I'm not sure what to give him for a level 1 Earth Elemental. Should I just make one from scratch, and if so what's a good guideline to go about doing that?

1. Personally under the Attack / Defense section of the Weapon Section in the character sheet I usually write the “Total” Attack/Defense value, considering the quality bonus of the weapon and/or other special bonuses not deriving from the character himself (like the Defense bonus of a Shield). Still…I don’t use official sheets, since I don’t like them and use unbeautiful word files which I can modify to my pleasure…

2. I believe over there you write the number of life points obtained by the multiples you bought.

3. I don’t believe there are Level0 or Level1 Earth Elementals in the rulebooks so far. As far as I’m concerned, Earth Elementals are supposed to be slow but heavily defensive creatures. There are 2 good ways of doing so: either make a Damage Accumulation weaponmaster creature with tons life points/damage barrier/high regeneration/extra AT/extra PhR OR make a simple weaponmaster ceature with fighting characteristics severely unbalanced toward defense, same features as before and the Guardian Magnus, which would mak it an extra-useful summon.
