Been playing Decent some times now. We`ve come to some agreements which none of us really are 100% sure is correct, so I would ask other gamers what you normally do.
1. Knockback . I`ve read several threads about this, but am not sure what is correct. Example: an ogre hits a player for 6 damage, player completely negates this(through armor, shields, cloak etc. etc.), meaning the player doesnt take any damage. Does the knockback take effect, or does it not? Some places I read it will take effect(same with burn, bleed and other effects, except for poison), other threads indicate the player needs to take at least one point of damage(more correct would probably be wound). We are using the the latter, meaning at least 1 wound needs to be dealt to the target affected(both OL and heroes can benefit from this).
2. Starting the game . When we start a game, OL tells us we are without equipment, meaning we need to spend 3 movementpoints to buy in town before we enter the dungeon. First round normally starts with all heroes running to have enough movement points to both gear-up and enter the dungeon. Is OL correct about this? I find it very strange that the heroes in the first place would go to a dungeon without gear.
3. Rapid Shot and guard order . A hero is put to guard order. At OLs turn he storms that hero with an ogre. Hero uses his guard, and then wants to use rapid shot. OL prevents this, deciding the guard is one interrupt attack, and nothing more. All heroes disagree, meaning the hero uses his ability(rapid shot) in conjunction with the interrupt attack. Any idea is welcome here(ogre missed his attack, but still, for further dungeons....).
