This game sounds very cool. I have been hoping FFG would do a future-heist game, and that is exactly what this is. So looking forward to the previews.
Infiltration looks Sweet!
My friends used to play Rifts in high school and we'd always rob banks in Samus armor. This so reminds me of that but with the more network-hack, rogue theme.
This game has alot of potential. With the popularity of Dominion, that alone will have people checking this out. Android wasn't the best seller FFG was hoping for (I love it, but then I love anything cyberpunk), so the IP may hold it back some, but I hope not. I think that our culture is ready for dark future material again and the gaming community in particular is very open to this kind of thing. I also think that FFG has learned from some of its latest mistakes with game issues (both Elder Sign which was a great game but had some rulebook issues and the whole Forbidden Alchemy deal) that we can assume that any of those problems should be taken care of. I'd rather see this game delayed slightly to make sure it is correct than have them rush it into release.
Also, more Android stuff, please!

I was tempted to get Android for $25 when they had their "Black Friday" specials but I passed after I heard a few quibbles in balance (I'll wait for a revised copy, if they make it). I hope after Forbidden Alchemy too that FFG understands a boardgame isn't a boardgame unless it plays as it was intended to. I couldn't imagine they'd mess this up when they have such a big name as Vaccarino of Dominion attached. I thought my collection was pretty great until they released a preview for this. Now I'm envious again. FFG has been releasing a lot of new and branching material and this was a step in the right direction. I understand a lot of the game seems "rogue" based but I hope there is one of them who will lay a beat down against NPC mercs.
I just read the description (which is much more detailed than the preview article), and wow, I am giddily clapping my hands in excitement now. This game also seems like it could be solo-able (i.e. the rooms, the NPCs, the data search, the need to escape). Is that possible? Do you have to reach a certain download amount to enable escapability for a solo mission? I am tempted to buy already but solo-play will make this game must have, I tell you!
I like the aesthetic of the cards if nothing else... I wonder how complex it is or if it is a lighter game like Cadwallon.
I havn't played 'Android', so don't know the setting, but playwise, this game looks like a cross between 'Death Angel' and 'Dungeonquest'. You race into and then out of a randomly produced complex, trying to gain as much Data - the winning thing - before you get trapped. You choose an ';Action' for each turn from a choice of many. Could be good, but we shall wait and see. Cheers!
All I could think of was Incan Gold when I heard about this one. I'm sure it's NOT the same game, but I wonder just how different it will feel? We'll have to wait and see...
Can't wait can't wait can't wait......huge fan of the 'Cyberpunk' genre...
