This deck was originally assigned to one of my teammates for day 2, but eventually fell by the wayside, as said teammate fell out of communication. Easy to pilot, easy to win. This deck pretty much plays itself, but requires a little bit of forethought before attempting a kill turn, primarily to discover the best way to strip an opponent’s hand without triggering the adverse side effect of Fio’s ability.
This deck kills by looping Feline Spike with Mentally Unstable, or just playing two Spikes against an opponent that has no hand, thanks to Fio. The unique interactions are plentiful, as Fio takes a bunch of average foundations and makes them extraordinary, such as Military Combat Arts and N-Type Human. She also adds more value to Lord of the Makai, as if that were possible or even necessary.
When this deck was built we were really paranoid about Defender loops (and perhaps we still are) and so we include Tira’s Contract and Undercover Agent to help us deal with those. The rest of the deck is geared to support the primary offensive strategy of stripping the hand and stopping anything that might get in the way.
This is the last of our playtest decks that I will be posting. I hope you guys liked them and don't hate on me for spamming.
