Cannot be cancelled plot cards

By Daenarys, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

Scenario :

Middle of a battle with multiple charcters out for each side with duplicates on characters

A plot card is played that destroys all but 3 characters. Does this INCLUDE all duplicates. Put another way if i had 5 characters ut and each character had 2 duplicates attached would i have to destroy two characters and their subsequent duplicates ?

I hope this makes sense

Thanks

Judging by the title of the post, you seem to be asking whether "cannot be canceled" and "cannot be saved" are the same thing. They are not. Cancels and saves are very different effects, even though their timing is similar. So if an effect says "cancel," you cannot assume it means "save."

However, since there are no "cannot be canceled" plots that kill characters, you seem to be talking about Wildfire Assault, which kills characters and is "cannot be saved."

Dupes are saves, so if a character that has duplicates is killed while there is a "cannot be saved" restriction in play, the dupes are useless. The character will go to the dead pile and the dupes will go to the discard pile.

That leaves just one question:
