I'm new at this RPG world. Just bough the Players and GM book in hardcover.
And I saw that I could buy the other books on the RPG drivethru site (even cheaper). Nice!

But what about the cards? It came along with it?

IIRC, DriveThruRPG only sells PDFs. So no, any WFRP item you purchase on there will not be hardcopy nor contain any of the components, it will simply be a PDF of the book itself.

The PDF's on Drivethru RPG and RPG Now are only the setting books that go along with each supplement. They contain none of the relevant rules . Hence they are $5 versus $40 or $50.

The "WFRP Lite" play experience is only directly supported as far as the Player's Guide, Game Master's Guide and Creature Guide. FFG then moved on with supporting the full game with the future releases.
