Or, why not look at how Chaosium have made excellent stuff for 30 years and more! Call of Cthulhu scenarios and adventures is top of the line. I bet the staff for FFG's RPGs are much bigger than Chaosium's any day. Am I wrong?

You have crystallised my thoughts eloquently.

... and an example of a thing that should have been in the book:

In the part about Acheros Salient and the Hadex Anomaly, why o why haven't the writers put a table in there about the things that can happen ¨when travelling in the vicinity of this great hazard? Why do we, the readers always need to produce that kind of material ourselves?

There is a Hadex Anomaly Complications table (three tables, actually) in The Jericho Reach .

too little, and far, far too late...Dracopticon's got a great point: with more money and more staff than chaosium probly ever had, why not, eh?

On the subject of the Hadex Anomaly table(s): doesn't it make more sense to put that into the book on the Reach itself instead of the book on the Crusade?

AHA! Ok, that I didn't know, since I haven't bought that book yet. Thanks for the info! Then again, IMO I'd rather see all the Reach info AND the crusade info in one book, since they have so much with each other to do. But then, it probably would be rather expensive.

Seriously, I feel like I'm fighting for peripherial stuff here. I think the absolute main question is why can't the DW scenario making people make more detailed info on the places and people of note in the scenarios? For instance, in the first (and excellent adventure) part of The Emperor Protects "The Price of Hubris" there's no pics of how the Aurans actually look and I made my own drawings of their leaders faces, and also the weapons you use when hunting the big lizard, and things like more maps (!) describing the areas of the planet. I think there were only one map in the whole first part of TEP. Maps and pics of important parts of the scenario is absolutely vital! Atleast for me.

Probably because art isn't cheap and they wanted to turn a profit.
