So I now have my hands on the SE expansion, still waiting on SotT, and I have a big question regarding the Diplomacy 2 card:

If I use the secondary ability to 'peacefully annexe' a planet adjacent, what happens in the case of the Distant Suns option? Do I just remove the counter? Do I resolve those that can be resolved?
