Are abilities from an attachment added to a character's text box? Or do they stand separate?
The reason I'm asking: my wife had a Khopesh on a Mature Deep One. She used the Khopesh's ability to wound and destroy one of my characters. I then placed Bound and Gagged on the Mature Deep One, which makes it unable to commit to stories and blanks its text box. I argued that because of this her Mature Deep One should be dead because the Khopesh adds Toughness +1 and its ability to the MDO's text box, and therefore it's all blanked and it loses its Toughness and dies due to its 1 wound. She, understandably, argued that the Khopesh's text was separate from that of the attached character's text box.
... She ended up winning. Her Deep One deck is brutal now, with Into Tartarus...
