...and just to keep people up to date, there have now been a total of 10 entries for the competition. It would be cool to hit at least 13!

The Enchantress's cheap tricks has been submitted to the competition. It's our first try at this so it would be nice to have some comments on it even though it might not be a winner.

Perhaps when Jon is all done with the competition, the entries might end up as downloadable at Talisman Island. Then we could all look at what was submitted (via a list of mentions) and talk about them herein. I wouldn't mind some feedback myself for a little refinement of my entries... after the contest is finished.

I agree with JCHendee.

I was intending to post them as a Lucky 13 expansion page so that people might have a looksee at all of them. A couple will need making up so that they are usable, but I am sure someone will oblige in that regard!

Oh, and we are now up to 13 entrants! Spooky...

So, I just updated the front page at Talisman Island with a reminder about the deadline for the Lucky 13 competition.

HOWEVER...

When I went to post news of this to BGG it seems that I did not make the same updated announcement there as I did here at the end of February!

So, I figure the best thing would be to extend the deadline slightly, to give anyone a chance that did not know about the update. I figure that an extension of a week should be enough time...

Do people think that is fair?

That seems fair, although I am eager to see the results! We'll just have to wait a bit longer...

The 9th of April will be good as it is at the end of the holiday weekend giving people a chance to get something sorted.

Soooo… any news on how far you got with that pile of new stuff you got in your in-box?

Well, the pile of stuff is now on my desktop and I need to get a good look through everything a couple of times before I finally decide.

A few have caught my eye though, so it should be all sorted reasonably soon. I am hoping perhaps to have something sorted by the weekend as long as I can concentrate on it.

I would not have believed that judging these entries was so difficult. I seem to be flitting from one good idea, to another and then back again!

Don't worry though as I PROMISE!!!!! to have a winner picked by the end of the weekend, hopefully tomorrow. I will force myself to choose and throw myself on the mercy of the fans!

Thanks to everyone that entered. You won't believe how hard it was to judge! I think I will definitely be using a commitee next time to help out!

I like the enchantress expansion idea too:)

Trading some trophies at the enchantress for some special cards, like the frog's eye, seer stone or arch mage amulet are some nice idea's.

We're very glad you liked our expansion. I still haven't looked through all other ideas but there are many good entries. I can understand that you had a hard time picking a winner, just like we have a hard time understanding that you choose ours.
