Over all the various generations of WFRP, one thing remains constant.
Castle Drachenfels stills stands, just a little south of Ubersreik. Just found it mentioned in lure of power.

The Great Enchanter WILL return!

If you look carefully at the map of the Reikland, included in the Rulebook, you'll see the exact place of the castle

He never left...
He's just... Being patient...
I was considering a structure for a short campaign. Might be worth a laugh to run over summer. Starting with a tavern where everybody getting attacked by orcs chased out of the mountain by you-know-who and leading inexorabely towards the great enchanter's fortress.
I always thought, that Castle Drachenfels (the adventure) would be great when converted to WFRP3rd. Image what all the Chaos Star symbols on a dice roll could do there!
I am reaaly thinking a lot about a dungeon based on the dice system rather than on fixed locations and things ....
You'd have to figure out how to use the movement system in a dungeon setting, but I think it would be a fun conversion for a HERO's CALL level of play.
jh
Using Location Cards for Drachenfels' castle could be neat, too; each room could have its own card (Banquet Hall, for example, or Corridor of Whispers). And they'd all have terrible, terrible things that happen when a Chaos Star shows up. Not to mention the GM shuffling the deck a bit when the PCs realize they just want to escape the place, so that backtracking just ends up leading them further into the maze...
