Got the PDF copy & had a read-thru. Honestly`? I think it isn“t worth the money. A review on darkreign40k goes by the same margin.

So, the final verdict on the trilogy is only the 1st one's cool?
But, what could you do to top Lure of the Expanse ?

Thanks

Some interesting things about the eldar but moslty this one needs major redesigning.
Well the last two ones of the serie IMO need redoing. unless you want your players going "choo chooo, I am Blain the Pain!!!!" most of the time....

They could (for example) had EXPANDED on the worlds presented in "Lure of the Expanse" or any other they mentioned in the RT core rules. I think the major weakness of both "Citadel of Skulls" and "Lure of the Expanse" is that they designed like any other adventure would be designed.
In my opinion, getting the best out of RT needs a special breed of gamers, GM and "adventure": the all need to be compatible with "free form approach". Especially "Fallen Suns" is more akin to rail-roading. Why giving the players the multitude of options that come with having command over a ship with thousands of crew, a traders purse and the ship itself if the adventures are built to ensure that none of this really counts/can be brought to bear?
Hiyas!
So, you want more gazetteer-type books. Wouldn't those be counted as sourcebooks, not adventures? Adventures are limited "by design" (pun). I have seen few examples otherwise... Lure of the Expanse is tops because of this. Perhaps this adventure should've been a longer campaign (like the latest trilogy)?
Perhaps FFG should release planet/region-themed adventures & thinly link 'em... Akin to a "great scheme/plot." (Does that make sense?)
Or just keep releasing sourcebooks...
Thanks for the input...

Well if you liked Lure of the Expense railroaded stile you will like the whole Warp Storm Trilogy.
You have the same kind of ending with someone else deciding the fate of the prize and the player AGAIN making a run for their life. IMO the 1st book is interesting, the 2nd book as a unique stile (the heist) alto the rail road is gettign pretty big and the link between both adventures is weak. the 3rd book is an eldar reference for me.

Where's the railroad in LOTE?

SORRY: DELETED DOUBLE POST

Hi!
About the Ship beign a PC too:
At least they tried a bit in "Into the Storm."

Do you think FFG reads our opinions, ideas, suggestions, praises & complaints about their games in these forums?

Into the Storm
was a sourcebook. If this "ship = PC" politic is not carried over into the adventures, all "additional gear" is just no good. Like a tuned-up/tricked-out muscle car that never leaves the garage.
In regard to FFG I am quit sure that they do not read the forums in regard to opinions, claims, protests and/or rules questions/complaints.

At least they published some
