Fight or Flight and JT

By B-Rad1234, in UFS Rules Q & A

Hey folks just wondering...

Promo J.Talbain says when he has a moon token his handsize is 9. Fight or Flight says:

First F: Discard 2 momentum, commit:

Place 1 Moon token on your character. Remove it at the beginning of your next turn.

Now the question is this, when does JT's static handsize buff resolve? Before or after the moon token from FoF is removed at the beginning of your turn? Does he get 9 HS? Or is he stuck with 6?

Hmm... here's how it looks like it works out.

Fight or Flight removes the token at the beginning of the turn. JT's hand size goes back down to 6.
JT goes through the draw step, drawing up to 6 cards.
The combat phase begins at this point, so JT's static ability kicks in. He removes all tokens, which would be 0, so he puts a token back on from the ability. Therefore his hand size goes back up to 9. Kinda counter-productive, but that's how it works.

The same goes for *J.Talbain* and his vitality boost etc, and ***J. Talbain*** and his "draw during the opponent's draw step" ability.
