Basically which miniatures would be best suited for Allies or Axis? I am going to put SSU decals on all miniatures to define them and paint them up with some sort of red, probably red black and gold but besides that I'm at a loss.
SSU Proxy Army
Well, Dust models already do an Axis walker armed up as Russian and the Otto is a Russian walker armed up as Axis, I believe you get Russian weapons in the set as well. I'd get them first.
My main problem is how hard it looks to build those. Is there any instructions that say like what to do first or something like that?
There is an instruction sheet, the same one you can view on the site, the hardest part is the legs but if you get another built walker to look at its easy enough to follow.
OK so I made a list for my SSU and I need opinions. Using Axis models so as to demonstrate SSU supporting militia in the Axis's homeland so here I go.
Heroes 39AP
Lara 21
Stefan 18
Walkers 147AP
Hans 24
Luther 35
Lothar 36
Heinrich 26
Hermann 26
Infantry 185 AP
Sturmpionere27, Heavy Laser Grenadiers30, Heavy Flak Grenadiers25,
Sniper Grenadiers10, Beobachter5, Laser Grenadiers27
Heavy Recon Grenadiers26, Heavy Kommandotrupp35
So thoughts anyone?
The Otto does come with 3 different SSU weapon load options. 2 flamers, 2 chainsaws, and dual cannons. each DM model I have purchased also comes with instructions on how to build. The Fury of Ivan is pretty cool.
OK then but which models are made for Dust tactics again? Is it the 35 or 48 or both?

Don't you mean the KV-47? I know Otto is a modified KV-47, but a KV-47 is not necessarily Otto.
I personaly thought Otto was the only KV-47 looking one in the 48 scale for Dust Tactics.
