Appears they're trying to clear out stock. Maybe they are hoping to reissue their reissue in the new square (silver line) box? Also, when I see listings for this game, such as on the BBG database, the old art is always used. I wonder why?
This game was in the FFG Holiday sale... already?
I have been hearing a lot about FFG switching their boxes; I dont know how much truth there is to this, but it could be an explanation. AGoT is being reprinted in a new format and a lot of retailers dropped the price on the old format significantly, but those are retailers, not FFG.
Good thing is the chance to get this great game cheap,Picked up a copy for my brother , Haven't seen this game in quite a few years .
It's just not such a great game. The art rocks, but I sold my copy after a single game, we just didn't feel the need to explore its intricacies in more detail. We already have better, shorter games in this category and I just don't believe there was such a big demand for this old OOP GW game.
