l have just got the Dragon expansion, does the Dragon Tower need a Talisman to enter as there is no Valley of Fire?
The new FAQ says under Spells, Psionic Blast re question 1about Psionic Blast fighting the Pit Fiends,the answer is yes but l thought you could not use Spells against creatures in the inner region, am l misunderstanding the rules in this case?

No, it is not needed in the Dragon Tower.

The FAQ is not contraddicting the rules. You can't cast Spells on creatures in the Inner Region, but you can cast Spells on your Character. Psionic Blast is cast on your Character. But you cannot cast Weakness on a Pit Fiend.
Thanks for the quick reply, l don't understand why they did this, not needing a Talisman l mean, after all the game is called Talisman A better title wonld have been Crown of Command then there would not be any confusion.

It's still weird indeed
In the original dragon tower from third edition, you needed a talisman at the entrance of the tower.
If you don't have a talisman, you could lose some lives..
Yeah, we've house-ruled it so you must have a Talisman to enter the Tower.
