Preview Document, Supplements, & Living Errata

By BrotherCaptainMagni, in Black Crusade

Hey all. I'm sure there are a few errata specific threads (Mango-Adhesives come to mind.) But I was wanting to get a thread started concerning the release of a Living errata PDF and/or a Preview Document like we got with both the RT and DW releases. If you'd liked to see some movement on these please comment on this thread in general. I realize that FFG is a big company but the WH40K liscense has made me into a very big fan of the company and I'd like to see the same pdf products they made available for their other games. This being said I realize that errata for BC isn't as huge an issue because of the smiiliarities between the various game lines. (The Deathwatch Living Errata covers most of the weapon types.)

My second idea is to ask the forum goers what kinda rules/mechanics/fluff stuff we'd like to see in future potential supplements for BC. The obvious one here is either a post-ascension book or a book dealing with the waging of a black crusade. Other things I'd like to see is of course a beastiary which expands upon the general adverseries as they did in Mark of the Xenos and Creatures Anathema Rules for Daemon Bound Vehicles & Armor along with expanded daemon weapon abilities would be great additions. Also expanded Gifts of the Gods & Rewards of the Dark gods for be much awesome to see. Fluff wise I'd love to see just more in general about the Screaming Vortex as the section in the core book left me wanting more and more

In the meantime, Death to the False Emperor!

I would deffinitely like to see more classes, or rather specific types of classes.....there was no medic unless you are a heretek??? sorta...I dunno seemed like that part was rushed.

Hopefully they do iron some stuff out but I totally cant wait until more of the story line stuff gets release. ^_^ maybe some more descriptions of some of the planets and things notated on the inside cover maps but are lacking the description in the back section of the main book..

Just pick up the medicae skill with your starting experience for any archetype...? Now you're a "medic".

I would really love a book about chaos tech. Expanded rules for CSM power armour, heretek weapons, daemon armour/vehicles, Q'Sal void ships, spiky objects, legendary chaos artifacts, all sorts of toys! Heck, include ship rules and stats for chaos ships and modules and I could see a lot of RT GM's buying the book just for that (as in hull space / power requirement rules, as well as chaos navigation rules). You need ships for a crusade after all.

Something with a few more archetypes in it would be nice as well, the CSM techmarine and a human Dark Scholar spring to mind as potential candidates to "fill holes" in the current choices. Expanded rituals would be nice, as they are useable by everyone.

What I want first tho, is an errata...

In that i'm with you Hygric. Errata would be nice, for every book they released to DH, RT & DW also. Also would be nice to have different CSM chapters little bit line to DW, Iron Warriors, World Eaters and such. I know, I know, some people have already made some house rules for this but would like to know how FFG would see them build. Possibly this could also bring some balance issues to human-CSM groups unless they implement some kind home worlds to humans, or say that just pick them from RT =)
