What's the plan for Liber Fanatica?
I'm not in the know.
What I do know is that liberfanatica.net is down and it's got me worried.
Liber Fanatica is down because of the domain host did not inform the owner of the site about expiring domain. It will be fixed after the holidays.
The plan is to release the next issue in the beginning of next year (hopefully at the end of February).
According to discussion there will also be another LF issue published during next year and quite possibly an additional issue dealing with only one city. But I'd like to point out that these are not confirmed in any way yet.

The LF domain has now been renewed for another 3 years, but it usually takes 24+ hours to reactivate, so hopefully it'll be back up over the weekend. In terms of future plans, I can also reveal that I've seen the first concepts of the new site design, and it looks pretty amazing!

As to what Lauri has said, as well as LF9 being published this year, the Grunburg special edition will be as well. Whether we can get LF10 out for the end of the year as well, may be stretching Jussi's tolerances beyond the max, though I am sure we could get the writing done for it.

I've seen big blocks of LF9 roll down the assembly line.
Judging by the blueprints, it's going to be a mighty beast.
