I think it was more of a case of IE not being compatable with some of the HTML code they're using on it, and they can't be bothered to re-write the code just so it'd work on IE.
Lions and Loyalties release next week
There is a reason I refuse to use that site. IT is there time and energy, and even money that goes into it, so I certainly don't begrudge them their decisions, but I refuse to use it and refuse to recommend it. Cardgamedb.com all the way yo.
This is from the sites main page
"No IE!
AGOTCards.org is not compatible with Internet Explorer browser because it is not a browser! And it sucks at W3C standards compliance, so we don't waste time trying to get stuff to work on it. Please use Chrome, Safari, Opera or Firefox"
Here are all the cards for people who can't access the site. I'll try to fill in the new cards that havent been spoiled yet or aren't reprints.

I think a lot of the reprints are switching out their old requirements for gold remaining in the gold pool.
I'm also loving some of the ratings on this site. 3.73/5 for brothel guard.... really?
Do your work computer forbid the use of FireFox and/or Google Chrome? I don't know many people that still use IE to be honest.
Microsoft and its suite of products are still the most used products in the world. A lot of companies forbid employees from adding or altering programs on their work computers for security reasons (and rightly so). Without an administrator password most things on a lot of work computers and networks are completely locked down.

What Penfold said. I like to look at work, and IE is all we can have.
Some good reprints, although I don't remember 90% of them it seems (getting old). Will be good to see them all face-to-face, hopefully tomorrow, but most likely later.

Aren't you the CEO? Can't you just say, hey I want Firefox on my computer? Or Chrome? Or anything you want since you're the boss? lol
Hmmm... at our bank at least, many of the programs used are IE only, so I suppose it's the same problem in reverse.
Still. Wow. agotcards.org is a slick looking site, but such a walled garden.

Not that I care about people's browser preferences but your statement reminded me of an article I saw the headline for regarding Chrome's rise. So I pulled up some quick stats. (I believe this is from a month or so ago)
Internet Explorer (38.65%)
Firefox (25.27%)
Google Chrome (27.27%)
Safari (6.09%)
Opera (1.98%)
Mobile browsers (8.04%)
Kind of interesting, IE is below 40% for the first time and trending down. If the current rate holds true in the next year or so Chrome will be the new king.
It will be interesting to see if that is true. I use Chrome at home, almost exclusively. But I have never had an office job that IE wasn't the default browser on the device, including on the macs. If businesses start switching I'll believe that for sure. Even if they don't home and mobile computers are so much more popular than they were, I think given the choice and information a lot of people would use Chrome over IE in their home computer... but people like familiar. MS and Apple have both used that to their advantage for a long time.
IE is most likely the default browser for office jobs, but I've never actually had to use it over FireFox/Chrome. Basically as soon as IE completely changed it's UI when it became IE 7, I completely abandoned IE because I hated the interface.
I have yet to use Google Chrome but may very well switch over to that sometime soon.
Firefox is the way to go. Chrome seems to have some quirks that get on my nerves.

QFT?
I'm sure that everybody has its own preferred site so i don't see the problem. Our point is that we programmed the site with w3c standards. Since IE doesn't respect standards (and microsoft told that with 9 version would have satisfied those requirement - not true in reality) it is not our problem. If somebody is not ok with that there are other sites panfold can suggest to go so you can see spoilers wherever you want... where is the problem?
This is not criticism... be happy and chose what you want...

Unless you use firefox portable or chrome portable.
@Gualdo: It's not good to design site excluding one of the most common browser however you as a owner took such decision and we must respect it. I would kindly reconsider this however as many business computers have IE as default and there is no possible to install anything else due to security reason. I think that the only problem with IE is that you can't logon as logon windows does not appear. Opening site for guests would solve this issue however.
We Want Access and We Want It Whenever You Might Possibly Get to it. . . . .. . .if its not a big deal . . . .. cause ie sucks but we dont have a choice
Aren't you supposed to be using your work computer for, you know, work? I would think that the Andreas would be better off working on a mobile version of the site rather than working with a terrible browser made by a company that reneges on their stated intent of compliance.
There are other more pressing matters like discussing this little gem currently spoiled at a different site:
A House Divided
Type: Event
House Lannister only.
Response: After a player plays a character with a Trait he already has in play, choose and return 1 character with that Trait to the top of its owner's deck.
The shadowy moneymen are at again seeking to divide us. Its our right to gather and discuss our grievances without fear of reprisal. If we wish to form a union of like minded individuals sharing the same traits, its our right. Yet the shadow moneymen use their vile intrigues to keep us in disarray. Failing that they rely on the jackbooted thugs of Clegane and Lorch National Detective Agency to hurt us. This must stop.
#OccupyCasterlyRock
Dude screw that! I'm joining Lannister! If they can start just making people disappear then what are we going to do to stop them? They can just make us ALL disappear! I for one welcome our new Lion overlords. #KneeltotheLion
Something tells me that opening the site to guests will increase the concurrent connections quite a bit.
#KneeltotheLion!

There is a GREAT fantasy book I am reading - The Heroes by Joe Abercrombie www.joeabercrombie.com/books/the-heroes/
It has a ton of great things about leadership as well.
1. The farther you get from the front lines, the more removed you are from any sembelence of control. Every promotion the High Marshall got, he expected more control, but got less.
2. Companies, squads, armies - whatever. The soldiers follow whatever their leader is - good or bad. So if a general is disorganized, the army is. If he is honorable, the soldiers usually follow.
Basically a round-a-bout way to say if I started downloading whatever I wanted to, then everyone else would as well. And then we would have IT chaos
~This probably means all my employees surf CCG-sites as well to Troll threads?
Back somewhat on target - my only issue (as Kennon WELL knows) is that Lanni has, like, FOUR traitors against them. INcluding the most stupid one of all time - Treacherous Watchman - who was printed during Lanni's first run of being good. 1 cost, 1 strength, 2 icons...discard any Lanni character. Not even triggered. No restriction on cost or anything. Bleh.
I can just see it now, I play 1st round a person with 12 Lanni traitors in their deck and lose badly. Then that person (~let's call them Erick or Kennon, famous Traitor-lovers) goes 0-4 in the rest of swiss because they are playing 12 traitors. I then go postal and jump off a bridge.
Odd question: To anyone else who has purchased Lions of the Rock so far- did you have a small blue sticker on the bottom left corner of the wrapper around the individual decks? I'm just curious what it's for...maybe I won something!
I saw them on the Khazad Dum card packs as well.
