Thanks to Phiveball's video tutorials and this forum, I am thoroughly enjoying DA!

The game has some abstract elements to begin with and the rulebook, I think, requires quite a bit of inference on the reader's part. That and they are a bit convoluted. Initially it seemed not worth the effort to slug my way through it so there the game sat. After watching the vids I've played a few times, gone through the forums, read various clarifications, and now feel like I have a good handle on game mechanics.
