Do they exist anywhere? I've dug through the books as best I could and didnt see anything aside from the mention of fighter and bomber squadrons in BF Kronus.

I know ship to ship combat isnt the same in 40k as it is in say starwars, but whats the point really of having an ace pilot archetype if all you do is sit on a bridge and tell people when to press buttons...

Didnt bother to look in Into the Storm....Carry on, nothing to see here, not the servitors you're looking for and all that.

At the end of BF Koronus there are stats for the bombers, assault crafts, etc. On into the Storm you have rules for the fury interceptors. If you are looking for atmosferial planes...like lightning, marauder , etc, the only it is the chiroptean scout on Into the Storm
