So when I first layed eyes upon the Promo Bishamon I realized that I Was destined to make SOME sorta deck outta him. My first incarnation was good, running a LOT of Earth and splashing a small bit of Evil for control and negation. It did fairly well, and after awhile I kinda drifted away from him. Lately though I was itching to play mill again, and decided upon rebuilding him. Well, he went undefeated today in the tourney, and lost 1-2 to my fellow first placer (we had the EXACT same record/points/SoS). It even MANHANDELD an Order lock down deck. So anyways here's the list:
..Bishamon..
Foundations:
Evil: 12
Blood Runs True x4
Billiard Player x2
Chester's Backing x3
Red Lotus of the Sun x3
Death/Evil: 4
Oral Dead x3
Charismatic x1
Death/Earth: 4
Criminal Past 4
Evil/Earth: 2
Cutting Edge x2
Evil/Death/Earth: 4
Revenant's Calling x4
Earth: 14
Amy's Assistance x3
Battle Prowess x4
Dancing Battle Kabuki x3
Holding Ground x4
Assets: 11
Assassination Arts x4
Olcadan's Mentoring x3
Seal of Cessation x4
Actions: 9
About Face x3
Tag Along x3
Rejection x3
Attacks: 4
Flying Power Bomb x4
Yes I know the list is long but I'd like to show off one of the biggest strengths and appairantly the biggest flaws of the deck, and that's the fact it's a quasi Tri-Symbol mill. I don't have too much matching symbols, but sometimes I find I can't use my Flying Power Bombs and then block in the same turn and it kinda gets irritating after awhile lol. Revenant's Calling is probably one of the best, if not THE best card in Block 3 at the moment. I abused the crap out of it, and more or less commited Sir Shajir's key pieces with it today.
I'd like to get Kung Fu Training into the deck, as I find if I get Tag Alonged I really don't have much to stop it, short of Seals. Any ideas?
Comments and suggestions are always welcome
Cheers,
Brad
