I have a Yun deck that has Hades Cannon as one of its primary kill cards. What with it going away once rotation hits, I wonder if there are any other cards out there with the same (or at least similar) effects. Its ability (paraphrased) is

E: Whenever you gain vitality during this attacks enhance step, this attack gains that much damage instead.

Is there currently anything that'll survive rotation with that ability? Thanks, guys!

Single wing slam shares all and earth but only really works if your gaing all the vit at once. Likewise Chaos flare dosent work off life gain but you can effectivley turn gained life into a similar boost.

I would say that thoes 2 are your best bet.

It is quite different but you may want to look into sardine beach special. It already gets +2 damage with Yuri and has a crazy good damage pump. I think it can be a very powerful kill card for Yuri.

Thanks for the help! That Single Wing Slam will actually work, since I do gain all the vitality at once. I use speed pumps to make it fast, use the effect to convert vitality to damage, and use Admiration to gain vitality equal to the difference between current speed and printed speed. Takes a little time to make it work, but it's devastating when it does.

Wow, you actually found a way to use Hades Cannon. That's... that's actually kinda cool.

I've been running a very strong fire based deck using admiration / adoration + Single wing as a kill and its decent, but i find that it needs something else as the 4 copies of single wing dont tend to cut it. Tiger fury usually winds up being the other kill.

Currently, this is the deck. There's some more stuff I want to fit in, like more Bitter Rivals or some better attacks, but this is Yun currently. I'll also probably have Lesser of Many Evils and a few more things in my sideboard to swap in should I encounter somebody with reliable negation.

well my sugestion for you is too post the deck on the deck discusion forums, and if you have 4 single wing slams, find a way too fit them in.

I don't have any right now (40 bucks a month+4 fairly expensive hobbies+few people to play with means UFS is lower on my priority list of stuff to buy) but I'm going to be trying to get my hands on some. Being 15 in the middle of Nowhere, Michigan kinda sucks.

being 14 and in md sucks too dude. my sugestion is go to coolstuffinc.com and buy 4 single wing slams. they are 49 cents a pop (i think).

they only card i can think of is chaos flare.

Flare is the only one that will be legal.

My recomendation to you is to make a deck list that is ideal for you and work towards getting the cards. Most decks are chock full of commons and uncommons and honestly you can get singles rather cheap if you dont spend on packs. I have had entire builds that didnt use any rares that werent starter deck that won quite a few events, without having to comprimise the builds.

If your on a limited budget, look for a win condition that is limited budget. Single wing slam makes for a great win condition and you can easly fill out a deck that runs it with common support cards from domination. Do realise though that playing on a tight budget and playing favoriates with character selection will hamstring you hard. I can say without batting an eye that **Yun** is not a character I would expect to see on any competitive level simpily because theres other characters who pretty much do what he does better. Someone like Starter Sagat or ***Terry*** would probably suit a single wing slam deck much bettter than **Yun**. When you pick a character you need to cater your deck to that characters abilities, and that cant always be done on a budget.

I looked at ***Terry***'s support and, I'd have to say, he looks like he could be a good replacement for **Yun**. After all, my deck is already based around healing, and I can throw in Terry's support for it's drawing abilities. And if I base him around All, the only thing I'd miss really are a few of my speed pumps, but losing those won't hurt me too much.
