Need to report an issue with an rpgnow download

By LeBlanc13, in Dark Heresy

A while ago, I purchased the Dark Heresy core rule book from RPGNow. The book has an issue when viewed through any viewer other than Previewer on my Mac. When transferred to any portable device like an iPad, iPhone or Nook, none of the available viewers will show any of the text within a black text box. For some reason the boxes won't appear in the viewers.

I'm assuming this is an issue with the .pdf file itself as I have many other files from FFG all purchased from RPGNOW and they all display fine. I've reported the issue to RPGNOW, but they have not responded to me. I was hoping FFG could upload a new copy to see if that will fix the issue.

Has anyone else experienced this issue

Nope, all my PDFs from RPG-Now work just fine. But am I PC user (not using a MAC).

Anyway, "wrong forum" happy.gif
If you have any issues with a product, the thing to do is to contact the vendor. In this case, this is RPGNow.

Thanks for the response....but

1. The file works fine on my Mac, so this is not a Mac vs PC issue. :P

2. I've stated previously in the thread that rpgnow has been unresponsive to my communicating through them.

3. Mobile platform viewers, both IOS (iPhone and iPad2) and Android (Nook) are having the same issues.

That's why I'm reporting this here

I see I was a little hasty,

anyone, "wrong forum" this forum is GENERALLY wrong whenever you have any issue you want FFG to react to.

If you scroll down (waaaaaaay down to the end) you will find (light grey on dark grey, just below anything else) the CONTACT button.

I believe the problem is with how the mobile viewers handle the layering within the files. This is really a combination of how a PDF is created and how the mobile viewers are optimized to display things.
