Forbidden Alchemy's second story--Lost in Time and Space--is making me scratch my head. Map setup calls for the Medical Storage tile as well as the Holding Cell tile. Thing is, they're on either side of each other. Looking closely at the pictures, and yeah, those are totally the correct tiles on the map. So... what do I do?

PS: For the time being, I'm replacing Holding Cell with Guest Bedroom.

So after playing Lost in Time and Space, another issue came up that didn't involve the map, but I don't really want to start a new thread...

A couple fires got started in the past. The game ended before they changed time periods, but what happens to fire and/or darkness tokens on the board when the players change time periods? I'm torn between remembering what was aflame if they return, or just forget about it the same way monsters heal when they leave a time period.

Maybe you only supposed to flip this tile as a result of the time travel?

I really was excited for this expansion, but seems that a basic product tests were omited. So, this expansion is like the main game, more than a half of stories are broken scenarios.

I will be checking this affair to see how FF is going to solve this unfair situation.

Yeah, as soon as I saw errors in the previews they published, I started dreading that they were only the beginning. Sadly, it looks worse than I thought. Luckily I was able to cancel my pre-order from amazon. I'll wait till the second printing. i'm not going to pay $40 to be a play tester.

This is shocking. Seriously, what the hell. I pre-ordered FA the other day but not playing it till thursday. I can't believe this tile problem exists. I'm half expecting to turn over the roof tile and find the Gallactica on the other side. I can half forgive spelling errors and even some weak game mechanics, but not actually being able to set up the board is just ridiculous.

it looks like swapping "Observation Room" with "Guest Bedroom" would be an acceptable fix. Can't imagine it'll effect gameplay much/at all. Not to come up with excuses for a faulty product, but I'm just trying to enjoy a thing I already bought.

Already had some fun with the additional components earlier today. Looking forward to giving these stories a go.

This does not surprise me so much. 2 out of the 3 PoD contains serious bugs too. I will wait for the second print of FA. After all, I am in no hurry. ^^

Playing "Lost in Space and Time" for the first time tomorrow. Set up the board before. Simply replaced the tile with the guest bedroom. No harm done what so ever it seems. Did a quick demo run through to make sure everything should play out right and it seems in order. At first I thought the tile problem would be a game breaker but it's really not. Just laziness on FFG behalf which doesn't do wonders for their reputation at the moment. Will let you know how I get on tomorrow.
