killing strike + furious assault + hammer blow

By Bjornl, in Black Crusade Rules Questions

So, here are a couple questions for the community, as my character is getting more powerful and I want to know exactly what to get him and how I can combine everything.

Can I combine Killing Strike, Furious Assault and Hammer Blow in the same attack ? Hammer Blow states that in can be used when making and All out attack to make a single blow....can I still use a reaction for Furious Assault ? Let me know what you guys think !

Also, if I got Greed and Ancient Warrior, does that mean I can start the game with some Legion Terminator Armor ? Near Unique to Extremely Rare to Rare ?

Thanks !

Yes, and yes.

The terminator armor is yes, I suspect. Too tired to check.

You can also combine those talents, though whether or not you get to extend the benefits of killing strike to Furious Assault is something you and your gm is gonna have to deal with as you see fit, IMO.

You can combine all three abilities for the first strike, but I presume the additional attack from Furious Assault does not benefit from the rules from Killing Strike and Hammer Blow as Furious Assault only retains bonuses and penalties of the first attack, not other modifiers.

Unless it's been errataed (or got an answer from CS that says so), Ancient Warrior specifically refers to Legion weapons, not any other equipment.

After carefully parsing the rules, I support this interpretation.

I believe someone had posted a clarification from FFG confirming that yes, it works for Legion Armor as well. Can't be bothered to search for it a.t.m..

Personally I'd allow hammer blow to be used on the second strike, but not killing unless you spend another infamy point.

The thing is, I feel that if you can't have 2 hammer blows in one turn, there honestly is very little point taking hammer blow over duel weapon lightning attacks.

It's a great opener that can potentially give you several rounds of pounding the enemy with impunity? If you manage to connect with a Hammer Blow and the enemy fails the Concussive save, Furious Assault is just icing on the cake.
