Cerberus

By Hanomag, in Dust Tactics

Has been unloaded off the boat and is sitting on the loading dock. Thought you all might want to know they updated the upcoming section. Maybe we will see it this year.

Just ordered my Premium edition from DM. hopefully should be here in 2 weeks.

Got ours from our distributor yesterday.

I just ordered the premium one. It would be nice if the building was painted as well, but I doubt it. If anyone has it, does the book give any hints to what may next?

I was actually surprised looking through the downloadable pdf that there was no preview or hint that says what may be next. Other than the fact that they list Koshka and a Japanese character? Maybe they are not sure what is next, or they are waiting until Gen-Con to announce it.

Have they ever indicated what would be next? Other than the original core rulebook, which had all that release plan that never panned out?

The first expansions had a teaser in the back and all expansions have a schematic like picture of a walker that would be in the next expansion in the background of the text.

Well, we're still waiting on that Loewe/Wotan...

The building is great. Very sturdy. I remember someone commenting on snow tiles were used for the floors and that is not the case. They are tiled floor on one side and treadplate on the other side.

The scenarios are cool too. The first one, both sides race to the top of the building to retrieve an ammo crate that they have to move off the board. 200 points each side and 9 tiles make the battlefield.

Two other scenarios are 600 points each and 24 tiles 4x6.

Will probably paint the two heroes tomorrow.

That's very cool, and very odd, since all the images they released showed snow tiles for the floors. I'm very happy that's not the case.

And cool about that first scenario as well. Retrieving an ammo crate sounds like a cool variation. I'm guessing the unit just needs to touch the crate to grab it, it moves with the unit, offers cover and can only be stolen by eliminating the unit. Any other rules regarding it?

The crate can't be passed between units

Here is a pic from Turn one of A Bloody Victory. 600 points, suppose to be played by four.

Nice wall art!

$25.00 from a local game store.

I got my premium edtion today. The buildings are not painted, but that is ok. Also the first thing I have ordered from DM that did not come with a little something extra.

The heroes do look nice though, don't they? I received my order from DM today too. Received my Recon Mickey. LOVE IT!!! also received the card pack for my Otto and landing craft.

does the middle part come out of the recon mickey? SO , if you wanted you could pu a turret top on it or is it glued in?

Well actually it comes where you have to glue the two guys and guns in/on the turret ring. The Mickey comes with a tread plate on the bottom. I guess you could figure out a way to do it where you could remove it.

Operation Cerberus arrived in the mail today, I am really impressed with the walls and how they interlock. Angela (her model is a single piece!) and "The Chef" are going to be interesting heroes to add to our games. cool.gif

Got a bit impatient so since I bought the card upgrade pack and had the extra hero cards already.......

I built a "Johnny One-Eye" from a Boss Squad by simply swapping the leaders head with the torso of the Victory MG soldier and the lower half of the leader. The extra guys left over will be used for custom scenarios. I'm kind of tempted to give Rosie the Wrench from the leftover mechanic.....

After doing that I built a "Stefan" from the leftover Axis soldier from the "Panzer Killers". For his gas tank I cut the tops off two of my cheaper plastic brushes and that made a near perfect gas tank, I cut off the arms at the sockets and repositioned them at the proper angle then using a piece of wire as a hose attached them to a generic pipe shaped piece for the flamethrower itself, for his head it seems to be the same from the Sniper Grenadiers so a quick swap was made and thats it.

Our games consist of mostly type 2 Infantry so that was a bit of a push to get Stefan and Johnny made up.

Has anybody bothered to paint their walls from Cerberus yet?

I think Ill be painting the walls up first thing when I get Cerberus, I ordered it with the Hvy. Command squads and the wait is just making me crazy. I saw them listed somewhere as a Jan 13th date so fingers crossed that they arn't bluffing.
