Then again it's mostly a theoretical discussion since TMP build is much stronger than anything heir can do.

Easily accessible reliable draw, doubling capacity of recycling events, more attachment discard at virtually zero cost in deck space.

The good thing about this combo is that you can build virtually anything around it as long as you include enough Maesters. You don't need the Copper Link though, you can wait until Summer Encampment stands naturally and bounce Balerion then.

Do you think it would be worth running regardless? If you have it, you can bounce him early in case your opponent has something silly going on. If you don't have it, you can wait until your next turn, because you don't really have a choice anyway.

Copper Link is always a good idea in a Dragon deck if you have the room for it.

And a correction: You do not have to wait until your next turn in any case. Just till the Standing phase. Then, once the Encampment stands, you kneel it to bounce Balerion.
