I have been engaged by AGoT for the past month, and I find it one of the best games ever (yes, even better then LOTR:LCG, which I LOVE); but my issue is that I harly find people to play with, or the time to play.
Which are very good and detailed, but, maybe because I still have to understand all the little card intricancies, and interactions, I take more time determining what the AI needs to do, than actually play the game by it rules.
So, I decided to write a flowchart, to give a Robot (like Rick likes to call his AI) a decent intelligence.
I have kept it simple, and I have not taken into account card effects, traits, and lots of "little" things (because I am a novice at this game, so I still need to understand a few things, and because making a flowchart taking all those things into account would take ages to write and play).
I have countered this lack of intelligence, with a very "character" heavy AI, that should compensate the lack of intelligence.
Of course, this is just a draft.
I have been using it, and it is fun, but is it tactically sound? I don't know...
So, here's the deal: why don't we play test it, and report the bugs and the issues here?
I will update it and keep everything flowing.
Uh, almost forgot: here it is:
