Black Crusade to 40k character conversion

By Corut, in Black Crusade House Rules

So in the Black Crusade game I'm currently running I decided that it would be useful to have 40k stats for all the characters. I'm most likely going to use this for large scale battles, and if they manage to get to the 130-140 infamy to launch a Black Crusade.

The rules are a first draft at the moment, and I'm looking for feedback. I'm still working on what to do with intelligence, and I'm open for suggestions.
I'm also after psychic power conversions. After going through all the talents and traits, I've almost burnt myself out, and I still have mutations to go as well.

Rules can be found here:

All constructive criticism/feedback/suggestions are welcome and encouraged :)

I would say S and T 4 are more like TB 6-10.

Attacks I would go as simple as saying you have as many attacks as the character has. The normal maximum is 3+1 Attacks, which is identical to the norm for 40k rpg.

For normal humans I would say they should have a 40k wound per 10 40k rpg wounds (rounded to the nearest 10 normally, ie 5 rounds upwards, less then 5 rounds down). This doesn't work very well for things that are particularly superhuman (Space Marines, for example) or sub-human.

my friends and I have tried this on many occasions, and they way we do it, it seems to work out okay.

your 40K WS is your RPG WS BONUS

your 40K BS is your RPG BS BONUS

your 40K STR is your RPG STR BONUS(without considerations for Unnatural as it has no meaning in the tabletop game, though cap humans at 4 and marines at 5) with a possible +1 for Daemonic traits

your 40K TOUGH is your RPG TOUGH BONUS(without considerations for Unnatural as it has no meaning in the tabletop game, though cap humans at 4 and marines at 5) with a possible +1 for Daemonic traits

your 40K Initiatve is your RPG AG BONUS

your 40K Attacks are equal to your tallents (1 base, 2 for swift attack, 3 for lightning)

your 40K Wounds are equal to every 10 RPG wounds (Rounding up or down when nescesary)

your 40K leadership im not sure, but probably double your RPG FEL BONUS

your 40K Saving Throw is your RPG armor (5 for Flack, 4 for Carapace, 3 for Power Armor, 2 for Terminator/Deamon Armor)

Lastly your weapons are whatever 2 Weapons you have.

I'd make the armor save values be 7-10: 3+ as Lightpoiwer armor is 7. and SOBs have an armor save of 3+

Well this was very general, so I would say as long as you have ANY power armor, it is a 3+. much less room for variation when you are 1-10 vs 1-100
