Poll: Which is your favorite WFRP theme?

Poll: Which is your favorite WFRP play theme? This poll is just for the heck of it.

* Chaos Cults & Mysteries

* Greenskins

* Undead

* Explore-the-world and overland missions

* Chaos Invasion

* Dark Elf Usurpers

* Corrupt Officials & Political Intrigue

* Down n Dirty In the City Sewers with Skaven

* Military Campaigns

* Dungeon Crawls

* Beastmen in the Woods

* Woodland/Wood Elves

* Knights, Honour, & Chivilry

* other(list)

To me it is, "unlikely heroes, just trying not to get burned by witch hunters after their good deeds."

Grim and perilous, as they say.

I think my new favorite WFRP dream-theme is woodland. Ever since seeing the dwarven forge woodland set..I'm hooked on the idea of moving to a dark forest campaign with wood elves, beastmen, gobby's and the like.

For some reason I'm not so keen on sewers/catacombs at the moment (might have something to do with recently enocuntered giant warp-stone spawned rat-beasts and complimentary rat-hordes!)

Oh how bad could it have been? Its not like priests were probably losing limbs at the hip socket and hunters being chewed to teensey bits by flaming rat hordes, whilst mutated giant see-through-their-skin-absorbing-the-flesh-of-two-previous-agents-into-pendulous-stalk-like-appendages was menacing you from behind membranous-vein-netted-eyes, pushing you through narrow crawl tunnels into the darkness of where the rotting juices of the crypt-interred formulated into ponds of diseased-mucusy'-scum that soaked into your wounds..all because an imposter noble locked some interlopers down there just when they thought when they were about to escape..

It wasnt like that was it? Because that would just be plain wrong. partido_risa.gifdemonio.gif

Dwarfs against Orks

and

the whole Beastmen-stuff

Well, I have never played anything as good as the Enemy Within campaign, so my vote goes to

* Chaos Cults & Mysteries

* Corrupt Officials & Political Intrigue

Cheers

I love me some Greenskins, with a little dose of Trolls and maybe even a Giant.

Gitzman

Chaos invasion and beastmen in the woods.

I like corruption and chaos cults, but more in the vein that the ruinous powers come from people's failings (their desire, wrath, ambition, fear of death, etc).

I'm less interested in chaos coming in and morally corrupting a group. I think Warhammer is best when people are driven to evil, and then chaos comes in to empower these already morally bankrupt individuals. Chaos could easily be defeated permanently, if people could only stop being bad (good luck there).

Die die man-thing!

Greenskins and Nurgle!

I couldn't write it better than this!

Ditto to Doc.

Hmm... Yup, it was pretty much like that verbatim you evil, evil GM. ;)

I like to mix it up a bit and explore multiple facets of the setting but my general vote would be for:

*Chaos Cults & Mysteries

*Corrupt Officials & Political Intrigue

I like the idea that man's greatest enemy is himself and that the bad guy looks just like you or me.

Of course, I love a nice romp with daemons, greenskins, beastmen, skaven and the like. Variety is the spice of life. Though I very much play-up the "Skaven don't exist" angle and keep them to the shadows. My PCs have yet to contemplate their existence and that's just how the Skaven like it.

All of the above!
