I’m trying to figure out the Humans win conditions. On page 6 & page 14 & on the Kobol objective card, it says the humans win if they get to Kobol (8+ jumps) and jump ONE LAST TIME. Then they instantly win.
Yet, on page 12 it says “For the human players to win the game, they must successfully jump the fleet enough times to reach Kobol. Once the fleet has reached Kobol, the humans IMMEDIATELY win the game”. (Emphasis mine)

8 distance + 1 more jump = Humans win.

The only part you're misunderstanding is that the fleet does not reach Kobol at 8 distance. So the statements on pages 6, 12, 14 and on the Kobol card are not in conflict. The human fleet *does* win immediately when it reaches Kobol. And the fleet reaches Kobol on the next jump after traveling 8 distance. Hope this helps!

Ah, I see. So 8 jumps is not at Kobols doorstep-just yet...the jump AFTER 8+ = Arrival at Kobol.
