Well, I base the prices off of the Troll and Toad site you gave me, these are the prices for some SRUs:

Sephiroth- $24.00
Aerith- $19.00
Dragon Maleficent- $19.00
The King- $28.00
Ansem- $10.00
Ultima Weapon- $7.00

You can go check the prices, you said that Ansem is more common, but even he is more than Ultima Weapon...they are all sold out nonetheless, but if you look at the prices I could get 4 Ultima Weapons for 1 King....also, the reason why I say Ultima Weapon isn't too popular is because I never really see anyone ask somone for an Ultima Weapon, so I also base it off of the trades I see...in the end, I believe that I could get more for a King then I could for an Ultima Weapon card, despite getting 2 very minor wants in the process.

You may think I am funny, but by looking at the prices, the trade you offered me was a very bad deal on my part...

t's funny that everyone is going off prices when no offical price list has been made...or even close to being out. The prices are usually just so that people will buy them, and people are stupid even to pay 50 bucks for CARDBOARD.
Whether or not you do the trade is up to you, I'm just throwing out my opinion because the trade ratios everyones been throwing out lately are rediculus. I have to agree with Gtrogi that this game has become laughable with trading.

Roxas, you can try to make a selling thread, but heres the problem, what ever people saw it go for highest, and sell, maybe on Ebay or something, that is the price they will set as it's worth. So even if yours is pretty accurate, but someone sees it go for higher on Ebay and sell...they'll sell it for that price...and it isn't just this game that has become completely ridiculous with trading, my friend's Pokemon site is becoming ridiculous.

It seems stupid to me that when the economy goes down, the prices rise.

GTrogi, OK let me rephrase it, it's not that I don't want to do the trade, but I wish I was getting more out of it that was all. For example, if I hadn't set up a trade for maybe Leon SR or Peter Pan lvl 2 SR, I might just do that trade...so for now I'll decline, and if you don't get the King, and those 2 cards happen to be some of the last ones I need, maybe I'll come back and do the trade for just those 2 SRs...

That is true...for some reason, it seems to be happening to a lot of people who got the King card, but it is so hard to get your first, but once you get the first, you can get seconds and thirds so easily...

Neat discussion, the funny thing is that I offerered ultima because I found it to be the best of the set 3 SRs I have for trade seeing as how I see it useful in almost any deck, something that can't be said about arith and genie 1

It's pretty rediculous that the value is perceived to be so different between two cards of the exact same rarity. I can understand that uniques are more rare since the people who mainly collect to play the game (like me) can't settle for the rare version, and since there are roughly 1/3 as many, but a +20$ gap between SRUs is crazy and If I didn't need the king as the last card as part of my deck I wouldn't have offered as much as I did.

Or even an Agrabah lvl 1 SR, but the reason why they are said to be so "rare," is because if you are just collecting one of every picture card (what I did at first, until I completed that) it is harder to get an SRU, because for the fact that all the other foils are just the same picture with a foil background, they aren't as special as a new cards, with a new picture, new name, text, attack and magic value, and a foil background...
