Where are they being released?

I see that at a bunch of usa online retailers.

Funny thing just as I opened my email this morning my preorder of heavies has shipped from FRP games. Thanks for the heads up though.

My FGLS had it in stock last night. =)

It's funny. Initially I was physched for these heavy walkers, but now I think I'll pass on them for the time being. I'm just not very excited about adding them to my game. They seem too expensive (both in dollars and in AP), too cumbersome (both in play and to store) and just all around not worth the trouble.

Maybe later on I'll get the itch, but for now I'm passing.

Yeah, I still think they jumped the gun by going straight to the heaviest armor class and walkers that occupy 4 squares. I would much prefer if they had first gone to the medium-heavy walkers like the Jagdluther and Ryu, things with around Armor 6 and 6-8 health.

Not me, I want them. Hopefully my local game store has my pre-order. Can't wait for the painted ones to come out too.

I am also very excited about these. I was surprised they went so big so quickly, but have no complaints about it. Unfortunately they are arriving too late for me to see them under the tree, and it will be awhile before I have any money to get this. But as soon as I do, I'll be picking up Cerberus and the Heavy Walkers.

Anyway, i'm interested what they will come up with next. We have all types of walkers i can think of. Will they give us lets say new medium walkers, witch totaly new body or FFG will go for new countries? Hmmm someone imagined a comand walker?

How can this be? They are still on the boat!

Ordered the Axis and Allied walkers today. The Axis one looks great I look forward to fielding both versions. The Allied one is going to need some modding I think, I just don't dig the double barrels on the 'nose' approach; probably going to make a custom turret for on top and move the small machine gun turrets around a bit.

I never ordered any of the light walkers, has anybody used either of them to any great effect in a game where a Medium wouldn't be better? (Besides the points cost difference of course)

Well... if you take the cost out of the equation, it loses any meaning. Of course a light walker won't be as effective as a medium walker most of the time, their advantage is that they are cheap. And most of them are **** good for the price. Plus, they just add some variety to the battlefield.

i havent seen one that low in a while but i already have a second so its not a huge deal, i kind just want the box as i need more storage.

Well it depends what are you looking for. ATM only old core set i found in Warsaw costs about 105 $ while they used to be sold for 75:/ So hvy walkers are a bit overpriced for me:D
