I'm in the process of arguing with Amazon at the moment, still awaiting reply from my second email.
Creatures Anathema ship date?
Looks like with a bit of persistance I've got it for the original price guarantee :-)
Got my copy through from Leisure Games yesterday morning having given up on amazon.co.uk's inability to get hold of it despite it being released!
Have only had a quick flick through so far, but it looks good. Lots of variety for a GM to use!

This does not cancel a couple of days with irritation and being somewhat angry, but I feel that it alliviates it quite abit for me.
Amazon, like any large, automated agency, is prone to systemic failure, but I've noticed that if you work just a little they will accomodate reasonable inquiry (such as this one). Indeed, I'm getting Creatures Anathema shipped to me for free (at the Super Saver rate, which means it'll be a while before I get it) because I ordered it alongside Desciples of the Dark Gods. Since it didn't look like I'd be playing anytime soon (and still doesn't), I wasn't in a rush to get it. When Creatures was pushed to Feb, they shipped me Desciples at no charge and are now going to ship creatures, despite the fact that neither, on their own, qualify for the discount.
Overall, I saved a good deal of cash on the deal, which worked out rather well, despite the inconvenience of the release date sliding to the right.

For me Amazon.co.uk has redeemed themselves abit.
After two emails complaining about the order cancellation and how it made me feel, with a link to the book on their site.
They responded more reasonably and gave me a 15£ promotional gift certificate so I could reorder the book.

I'm less than impressed that they're managing to handle complaints about the same situation in two such different ways. In one case ignoring that they are at fault and in the other offering redress.
Obviously this isn't FFG's fault in any way but it's going to result in me changing my buying habits away from Amazon.
I am on my third response to customer service. At the moment they have not offered me compensation in line with the difference between the pre-order price and the full price they are now charging.
The last reponse was patronizing, basically saying that the two listings were different books.
As I know that other forum users have been offered some sort of compensation I am not dropping the matter as I feel a degree of subterfuge, to try and get them out of their committments to those customers who pre-ordered, has been used. Their excuse that they are in fact two separate products has made me even more determined to stick with it.
For anyone dealing with Amazon in the US. Noble Knight appears to still have copies at a sale price of 34.95 and they have great customer service. Garbage like this is why I haven't ordered a thing from Amazon in over a year and don't plan to change that anytime soon.
Here's a copy of my correspondence.

There was two emails which I have emailed. It's wordpad file and I shall probabily remove it in a couple of days, but pehaps you'll find it useufl in the mean time.
I ordered from Amazon US and got a rather considerable deal: Dark Heresy for $23.07 and free shipping. They have yet to dicker with me on it. Now, I'm not getting it anytime soon, but that was a known quantity of getting the free shipping - walked in eyes open on that. Currently, they offer it for $24.97.
I'm also having the same problem with Amazon UK, they have told me that their warehouse has already checked the listings and the two books are different. They are obviously checking their OWN records which are wrong and haven't thought, despite a supervisor trying whilst on the phone to me, to check FFG's website for the books details. Apparently his system doesn't allow access to FFG at all. I'm not happy...
After several emails and phone calls a manager from Amazon contacted me and is giving me the book for the original price with free postage! Unfortunately they don't have any in yet but it's still a result!
Glad it's worked out :-)
It was like pulling teeth but Amazon UK finally conceded that they had made a mistake and that the two entries were one and the same book. They have offered me compensation which I am happy with.
More importantly the book has arrived from another supplier.
On the other hand, I've had an acknowlegement that they are one and the same book and...that's it other than them telling me they're going to 'pass the details onto the relevant department to amend the product information page'. Nothing more than that, not even an apology for their mistake.
I've received the book from Games Lore and can now see myself simply not using Amazon for any rpg purchases in the future.
I wonder when Australians will get it.
I tell you what, if I don't get it soon I'm going to go all.. something on someone's...something.
You get the idea.
Hellebore
I do.
I'm accumulating D10 insanity points each day that I do not have it.
I'm tempted to make a Squat joke about where my copy's gone, but every time I make a Squat joke, the thread is locked or disappears.
That's because those kinds of jokes don't mean Squat. But you shouldn't make jokes like that - you'll violate Squatter's rights.
I'm here all week, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy yourselves, and remember to tip your server.
End of Feb now, and book still unavaible at my little favorite game store...this little favorite game store that was able to allow me to lay hands on "The imperial infantryman´s uplifting primer" (Damocles Edition) .
How much longer....

Assuming the US, the book is available via Alliance who are the primary rpg distributors in the US and a quick search shows that ACD Distribution have it in stock as well so your store should be easily able to order it from them.
If in Europe, it's available from Esdevium Games and other sources as well.
One of the vagaries of whether a product is in stock in your local store is the arrival date at the distributors as opposed to your local store and when they make their order.
As an example, if your store orders on a Monday based on, say, a Thursday/Friday stock sheet/new release sheet from the distributors then it's possible for them to not place the order for a new release until10 days after it came into stock at the distributors.
