Black Crusade and Necromunda

By AngryAL, in Black Crusade Game Masters

Hello,

Im continuing a BC campaign and had an idea to have the Cultists introduced to the Necromunda Underhive.

My theory is with all the competing Houses and Gangs, the setting is a ripe area for mixed challenges and the spread of Chaos. Shiffting alliances, chases through the Spires, delves into the Underhives blackest holds. Use House Goliath as a physical challenge for the CSM, and the Enforcers or Redemptionists as challeges for the Cultists.

Just figured Id throw my idea out there so you can borrow it if you like, or throw in your 2cents and maybe ill do the same ;)

Good idea for a setting, as it has a fair amount of detail on it if you have access to all the old Necromunda stuff. Not sure if CSM's would be a good idea, might be better to run it as an all-human campaign.

Tap Necromunda PDF into Google, and you can download a bunch of stuff from GW.

I have to admit I had never heard of Necromunda until a couple months ago (since the local gaming store doesn't carry any older GW stuff) but I think using Necromunda/BC is an amazing idea. I'm personally thinking of using hive Subrique on Landunder as described in the DH Arbites book (Book of law and judgement or whatever it's called) instead of the Necromunda hive, but I'm going to steal quite a lot from the source material from Necro. and maybe at some point the gangers/heretics will be able to escape Landunder and create a multi world mafia type syndicate dedicated to the dark gods cool.gif .

Also, Thanks Zarkov N, found tons of cool stuff on google.

I'm not doing Necromunda, but I am statting up a Hive World for BC using Necromunda as a fairly close model (I played it a lot back in "the day").

There's just something that feels very hive-y about Black Crusade, I think it's the battered, scavenged feel of a lot of the gear.
