Runelocked doors

So my friends and I were playing the other day and they started using this tactic where they kept opening a rune door, attacking, then closing it. In the rules it states that monsters cannot open rune doors. What is the overlord supposed to do in this situation?

1) Named monsters can open rune locked doors.

2) Save your trap cards that require doors to trigger and just tag them every time they touch it.

3) If they close that door, they just gave you a completely free area with which to spawn so use it.

4) If possible, move as far away from the door as you can and force them to move away from it. They want to keep doing that every turn its fine, but that one more turn you are getting closer to going through that deck and costing them conquest.
