Anyone else wish that FFG would provide a print on demand or booster pack option for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay cards?

If you're like me, and wish that Fantasy Flight would offer their Warhammer FRP cards in either a print on demand or booster pack option, then post in this thread!

Booster implies random, so I would vote a big no on that. I have a feeling, you're referring to a method of releasing existing cards without the cost of the books and rules that accompany them, and I can see a small market for that (both for attaining cards and attaining extra copies of cards, particularly extra creature cards). As someone that buys the books as they come out, I love the components, but feel the books do well with the existing sets to help put many of them in context and create good uses for them.

However, something in the model of a preconstructed encounter deck would actually be quite nice:

Something to the effect of "Greenskin Ambush" (or "Blackmoon Clan Ambush" that contains a few location cards, a half dozen greenskin creature cards, and some unique attacks and/or modifiers to go with them (with an item or three to reward the players).
No need to invest money in writing story, or usage, but a good way to release a self contained encounter (or small series of encounters) in a ~$10 range. (likely 15-30 cards at that price?)

Titles such as "Skaven Lair," "Ser Masterly's Outpost," or "Beastman on the King's Road" are simple enough concepts to be inserted into a night's adventure with little-to-no outside plot, but frame a unique situation and its actors (and expand the mechanics of the game in small doses). They would be good as a self-contained adventure and afterwards mingle with the larger population of cards.

Just yesterday I initiated a post with this same intention, so my answer is a big YES. Count me in!

I think he's referring more to the options that FFG has for other titles. First one that comes to mind is SpaceHulk: Blood Angel - cardgame.
Where you can have non-random cards printed on demand.

Though the idea of pre-constructed encounter-decks sounds nice. Especially for random encounters.
Toss in 1 card with a short description, or a setup blurbs: "A branch snaps to the left of you. Three goblins step from the bushes, with a mean smile and glinting eyes..."

Holiday themed mutations and magic item cards!! Hooray! Ha ha ha

Although my group doesn't need them (at present), I would love to see POD card packs. Examples might be

- Basic actions (for new players)
- Complete spell/blessing line (you buy all the Grey Order spells, for example)
- Wounds & Severe Wounds

And I love what Amehdaus where there are themed encounter packs.

Indeed OP, at least in terms of "existing" cards (not so much random stuff but existing hell yes I want that so badly). Maybe not even print on demand but just a box I could go into store or order offline and buy more of without having to get the books with the cards all over again just to get a second bloody set.

Yes, yes, and more yes. This is not only a very fun sounding idea for the roleplayers, it's a great business model and would keep this title afloat for a long time.

Player's Vault

I would like somthing like this some of my cards are worping and getting worn out.

I would a list of all the cards pick witch one i want and them send me the ones i pick and say buy 10 cards get 1 free or somthing like that

I would love an ordering webpage where you click the cards you want and the number of each. Minimum of 30 cards or something like that, whatever makes it worth FFG's while.

I would think FFG might dislike the concept though. Little profit margin and the system may compete with their other WFRP items. Those of us that are on the fence to get a product sometimes go ahead and buy it for the extra or new cards in it. A POD card system would end those sales.

Special decks might be more marketable for them. Creature decks of all Greenskins for the horde the GM is planning. Special locations as suggested above. Basic action decks (but completes with Players Vault). There are many ideas for small 20-40 card decks that FFG could easily warehouse and make a profit off of.

I'd buy into this.
