From now on you can plan "Haster" faction, and Professor Albert "Wimarth" instead of Wilmarth. How cool is that?

I really hate how the new forums deny you the simple pleasure of just saying LOL at this. Really, any more thought out comment would be wasted.
LOL
Call of Cthulhu the Card Game of Eldritch Horror for For Kids Who Can't Read Good And Who Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too.
Yes, I like Zoolander.
im still waiting approval for the new servitor thing.....
If FFG has a good detail-oriented editor with a strong command of English, they certainly keep her away from CoCLCG products.

Ever seen the german cards? Still looking for the same mechanics and the powerful cards in english...
Wow. Yes. That is amazing. I actually thought that the Adventure League manual looked pretty dang cool up until that point. Maybe it's a very strange coincidence, but the typos related to CoC really seem to be accelerating now that we've been commenting on them.
Or you can join the "Miskotonic" Faction.
I just got my new Asylum Pack...and the proofreading on the "Erich Zahn" card makes me want to tear it in half and cry.
I don't enjoy feeling like there isn't anyone at FFG working on the new cards who really likes the Mythos. It used to feel like one big insane family. Now it feels like a committee.

real cultist dont cry!
This is one of the reasons that I decided not to get into the game. I really can't stomach it when a company doesn't put basic care into their products. The volume of errors and the nonchalant attitude FFG has towards them just isn't acceptable to me.
it's not only that...
I opened my 7th AP yesterday... out of 40 cards, 7 were badly cut - left white bord minimal, right one much bigger. on both sides.
No comment....
In one of my packs a card was missing. Got 39 cards only
Urban, why not contact FFG and send those back for replacement. Maybe they'll even let you not send yours in because of the overseas postage. Max Wax, why not ask FFG for the card. Badly cut cthulhu cards are a pretty unusual occurance. Though I have read stories. Misprints and such can be cool to collect for their uniqueness. But badly cut cards are always a drag.
WOW... I was about to go buy the new starter because I really like the mythos... nevermind!
thanks for chiming in that you won't be joining us

I've played with the older sets that never seemed to have lore problems, so I definitely view this as a turn-off, and it appears that I'm not alone. Hm.
But if the hilarious notion that not buying the starter to a game that apparently isn't getting much attention to detail means I won't be joining "you", then you're very welcome, and I'm glad to have brightened your day.
Sorry for my tone earlier. I think controversy over the quality of the cards has focused more on their playability, and that artwork and layout have been pretty great. But the core does have a list of mistakes. A few changes for me were the highlights of core, like Clarney, Triggerman, Torch the Joint, and Anthropolgy Adviisor.
By the way, someone on Cenacle pointed out that Core Triggerman is not a new image, but the image from Kick it Upstairs FC R9 Agency Event.
