I seem to recall they were going to start re-releasing the original chapter packs to fit the current trend of 3 copies of each card. Has this happened at all? How about the deluxe sets?

All of the deluxe sets have been released in 3x versions, although I think some are sold out again already. As for the CPs, they have released the entire King's Landing (Shadows stuff) block in 3x format.

If I recall correctly, Defenders of the North is due next, and there's no word on either of the previous CPs.

The FFG store in MN was selling CPs from the first two cycles at $5 each, so that's a signal they intend to re-release those as well, perhaps next year. An alternate possibility is there would be rotating out of cycles. If they re-release, then that should mean rotation is in the far future.

Could anyone confirm for me what the first 3x Deluxe expansion was? Was that Baratheon? I have the first 4 deluxe sets and am just curious which ones I need to replace, as I picked them up when they first released.

I believe only the Greyjoy and Martell expansions (Kings of the Sea and Princes of the Sun) needed to be re-released in the 3x format. Lords of Winter and Kings of the Storm should have both been in triplicate from day one.
