I know the core set shows 2-4 players. Can you play with 5 players with expansions?

If you have enough cards, there's no reason why you couldn't play with 5 or even 6 players. Be warned, though: These games will be pretty chaotic. Also, when all the players are new, even a 4-player game might take a long time. With 5, it would take very long, indeed.

Like Ratatoskr said, when we start at this game (I did only a few weeks ago) 4 players is really really tough and long to play. To be honest, I did play 1 game alone before I call friends. So I was (a little) alike with the rules.
