Red Devils are old men?!

By ReaverRandall, in Dust Tactics

so the red devils are old men judging by the paint job on the box. guess they couldnt handle the Gs and extreme forces from the jet pack use so they made them ground pounders instead...still though, these guys have gray hair, eyebrows, and such. dont count on them running very far!

Yeah that is the first thing I noticed when I received the premium red devils. All with gray hair.

They aren't old, just prematurely grey from having field tested so much dangerous new equipment like the phasers they're lugging around.

Besides, you can't discount older guys on the battlefield. Experience can make up for a lot of energy from younger soldiers. The experienced older guys use their energy wisely, instead of wasting it running where they could walk, or simply outmaneuver the foolish young kids trying to fight them.

Old age and experience can beat out youth and enthusiasm more often than many young whipersnappers might expect.

so the old saying goes. i have found that to not be true more often times than not though. experience is the key factor, not old age, they do not always go hand in hand. anyway, the guys that designed these dudes obviously watched "A Bridge Too Far" one too many times dont you think?

You must be one of the young whippersnappers, then. cool.gif

With them being Red Devils, thinking about A Bridge too Far, is not a bad source. It would be cool to get a special Red Devil character model that looked like Sean Connery.

I wouldn't say old....maybe grizzled? In all honesty I can't imagine any soldier in "Dust" getting old. My casualties are alway around 80%. Maybe that is what causes the grey?
