Alliance (Agenda) + Meera = Goodness? Maybe?

Alliance Agenda

.......The House card of each opponent without a Treaty agenda gains: 'Marshalling: Kneel this card to (choose 1): draw 1 card or take 2 gold from the treasury to your gold pool.'

FAQ Entries:

(4.10) House Cards
House cards are considered to be "in play," and cannot be removed from play for any reason.
(4.11) Agenda Cards
Agenda cards are not considered to be in play. Further, the effects of an Agenda card cannot be canceled.

Meera Reed

Any Phase: Bring Meera Reed out of Shadows and into play by paying the rest of her gold cost. Then choose 1 non-plot card (2 instead if it is Winter) and treat its printed text box as if it were blank until end of the phase.

Looking at the text above, is there any reason why I could not use the Alliance Agenda, then use Meera to blank my opponents house card, thus removing their option to use their gained ability (assuming of course that I am the first player to have an action window in Marshalling)? All I see is that the Agenda-gained abilities cannot be canceled, not that they cannot be blanked.

Nevermind, I thought through it again and answered my own question. Since the Agenda text isn't printed on the house card, blanking the house card won't remove the ability. Oh well. At least I was trying to think outside the box!

Yeah, I was laughing at the fact that you were quoting every card, rule, and FAQ entry except the one that answered the question correctly. You cannot blank gained text.

You can use Meera to blank a neutral House card (the only one with printed text) in marshalling, though, which will hurt a lot if the player runs affiliated characters.

But the agenda card itself can be blanked? Knight of the hollow hill: it gives the house card the thing it has printed on the agenda, but if the Agenda is blanked then the House card will not receive anything, isn't it?

As well as Taxed dry can be attached to the opponent's house card too if the opponent using Knight of the hollow hill.

You can't blank Agendas with Meera, since Agendas are not in play. Cards that are not in play can only be affected by effects if the effect expressly says so.

Sure. In that case, the house card is an income providing card, so Taxed Dry's play restriction is met.

Then it confuses me how can a participating Brienne prevent triggering the opponent's Siege of Winterfell agenda if the Agenda is not considered to be in play and therefore no cards should affect the Agenda card?

Brienne doesn't affect Siege of Winterfell, Brienne affects the opposing player. She prevents the opponent from triggering effects, she doesn't interact with the Agenda at all.
