Hi, we had a little argue about greyjoy multiplayer cards the other day.

Each gold in your gold pool counts as 2 STR during the dominance phase.

Does that mean it counts only as 2 STR? In other words, do I get 3 points in total (1 from the gold itself and 2 from STR), or is it actually only STR?

The card replaces the rule, so each gold counts as 2 STR instead of 1 STR. More to the point, it is the same thing as the rule, but changes the number each gold gives you for dominance, not the basic mechanic. You do not get to add 2 STR for the card and 1 STR for the rule.
